The strongest wolf is the only one who understands the determination of the youngest. He's been to this place before. He sees himself in the weakest.

When he hears the howl of will, he remembers all the moonless nights he endured doubt and fear,
instilled by the scorn proper not to a pack but to a pack of hyenas.

Now he needs to rest, and he sees in the chaste mist a new successor being formed, but constantly tested by shadows that ambush him in uncertainty.

The veteran knows that despite his finite time, nothing can be done: doubt is the wolf's first trial, and he who disbelieves in himself is no longer in a position to be the first.
